Frequently asked questions
What is Jamie Delgado, PLLC?
Jamie Delgado, PLLC is a private professional mental health office serving residents of Texas. Jamie Delgado is the owner and is passionate about helping people heal from their trauma.
How does your service work?
Email or text me for a free 20 minute phone or video consultation. If we feel like we are a good fit for each other, we will then discuss session length (typically 53-55 minutes), frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc), and payment (Aetna insurance or private pay). We will also coordinate when your first session will be. Before your first session, you will have to fill out the provided intake and consent forms. My process is simple and tailored for you.
How much does it cost?
My pricing varies depending on length, location of sessions, and if you are using insurance. I try to offer a variety of options to fit your needs and budget. If you are planning on using your Aetna insurance the cost will be your copay - call Aetna ahead of time to confirm your copay for in-person and telehealth sessions (sometimes, they are different). If you are private pay payment for a 53-55 minute session in person is $180 and telehealth is $160. 80 minute sessions via telehealth will be $250 and in-person will be $270.
Do you offer sliding scale?
I try to offer a variety of options to fit your needs and budget. If you don't have Aetna insurance, then I do offer limited sliding scales. Those spots are reserved for those undergoing cancer treatment or experiencing perinatal loss. I also offer SuperBills, which might be helpful.
How can I contact you?
